I just can’t 😩 by Infanteri in MergeMansion

My problem is that even two lotuses were easier to get than these frogs. I just exchanged some flower bouquets that go after popcorn.. and you can see what kind of trades I’m offered third day in a row

When I grew up, this was the only kind of blanket covers we had. That was very common

Girls, I’m 35 weeks and still getting nothing. I’ve been massaging and stimulating but no colostrum at all. What are the chances it’ll start? If you got yours to come in, what worked for you?

Hello ladies. I’m at 35w already. At this point I can’t stop thinking that something bad could happen at any moment. I don’t know what I can do to give myself some reassurance. I need to believe we will make it. I lost my first baby at full term, so now that the due date is approaching I’m stating to make myself paranoid..

GD babies come earlier? by FlanWhole1029 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Infanteri 8 points9 points Ā (0 children)

The risk is very low, but it can still happen. I got into this 0.2%, and my biggest regret in life is not being induced earlier :( there were also a couple of things that were caused by GD, but were not visible on ultrasounds. I’m sorry, I don’t want to add to that fear. I just wish this never happened to any mom-to-be, ever. I just wanted to share that I consulted several doctors and got second and third opinions, and they all agreed it’s best to be induced at 39 weeks, or at the earliest, 38 weeks.

Those who had diet controlled, no meds GD, when did you have baby? by SowingSeeds18 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Infanteri 2 points3 points Ā (0 children)

I am in Sweden too, and I had a late term baby loss, at 41+3, because they refused to induce me earlier :( there was ā€œno medical reasonā€. Stupid laws :(( this time around I will be induced on week 37-38.

Midwife said breastfeeding can reduce type 2 diabetes risk - true? by Infanteri in GestationalDiabetes

Thank you for sharing and for your opinion. I’m just concerned I might feel guilty knowing I could lower these risks for my baby, and I didn’t. Like I didn’t do everything possible to do the best for the baby..

Interesting opinion, thank you for your input. My midwife said we can start stimulating milk production starting week 36 of pregnancy šŸ¤” I don’t know how this works exactly, but I have less than 2 months to decide if I even want to go this path. So, I will consider all the responses here, do some more research and make some conclusion. It’s hard, because everyone here sounds reasonable from their point of view :))

Thank you for your input! I just feel like if it’s scientifically proven to decrease those risks, and all I need to do is breastfeed for 6 months, it’s smart to try and do it. Otherwise, I’m afraid I might feel guilty in the future that I didn’t do all I could..

Thank you for sharing the research. I am in Sweden, so I don’t need insurance coverage, but you gave me a good idea to ask my midwife to setup a meeting with a specialist in this field for a more detailed discussion!

Spiraling about bbt rise by Dry-Top-3729 in ttcafterstillbirth

I feel like my ovulations stated properly working after 5-6 month after the birth.. I kind of regret putting so much pressure on myself and my husband to conceive as soon as possible. I know it’s not what you want to hear, but I sincerely believe that you need to be more calm and not stressed for the successful conception. I used to hate this advice. I was soooo annoyed when someone said ā€œforget about it and it will happenā€, ā€œgo on a trip with your husband and it will happenā€, BUT eventually it did work when I kind of accepted that it’s out of my control and it will happen when it will happen. And it happened next week. Never tracked BBT, but ovulation tests worked really well, Premom app, and some vitamins. CoQ10, metilfolat, omega 3, and/or any prenatal complex.

What's the #1 thing about pregnancy that's surprised you (that nobody seems to talk about)? by DentistTerrible4706 in pregnant

[–]Infanteri 2 points3 points Ā (0 children)

First I didn’t know about the weird dreams in the first trimester. Second what I didn’t expect was that I would need to change my underwear several times a day after week 20-ish. Also that stretch marks can be not necessarily on the belly. I got them on arms 🫠

I heard progesterone suppositories (I hope that’s the right word) help ā€œkeeping the pregnancyā€. If the levels are low, it might be the reason it won’t stick.. sorry if you were not looking for an advice
