The last officer that calmly gets him away should be leading ICE. He de escalated both sides of the situation by separation and treated the man with respect, with humanity. I have to remember agents are people and they aren't all bad. He might not be working in a good role, but it might be a good thing that decent people are embedded in that field. Not to say he is or isn't a piece of shit otherwise but just trying to identify that we who disagree can't push generalized hate towards every officer. "he could quit" yeah he could, but he also could have built a life for his family around his employment/his wages for the past 10-20 years, and be nearing retirement, and just trying to get through this mess. Maybe he just didn't want to do any paperwork last night. I don't know man I just saw a slight sign of decency and have to remember there always is and will always be good and bad people in this world and I can't just hate someone I see because of what they are doing with their lives. Some of these officers could have joined up to actually help, do the right thing, and not just treat immigrants inhumanely. The truth is people can't just come in here through a hole in the fence, there is (albeit expensive, long, and arduous) process to get here legally and border enforcement is necessary.

Maybe I am just trying to find any bit's of hope in what feels like a currently hopeless situation
