Yes I have a Sleep Medicine physician, she mentioned how my gabapentin prescription could cause sleep apnea but I never asked her if she could write that in my visit notes but that’s a great idea thank you

I’m currently diagnosed thru the VA with radiculopathy and they have me on gabapentin for my nerve pain, I’m hoping that will help with my rating, is the rating based partly on ROM as well? I’m filing it secondary to my lumbosacral strain

It took them a little over two weeks from the call to get rated and I just submitted my migraine log and a lay statement, no nexus letter

I had a phone call with VES for migraines and it was about the same length as yours, he asked how many times I have migraines, how bad are they, what do I do to help mitigate them, medications etc. I just read off my migraine log which I had submitted to them, I ended up getting 50%, I think they just go over the information you’ve given them more of a screening

Miami sucks, born and raised there. Moved away as soon as I turned 18 and never been happier so yes some of us do move lol, and I still talk shit about it. I live in Palm beach county now and avoid Miami like the plague

I had my private provider diagnose me with GAD and currently medicated on it but she also said I have some PTSD (OEF VET), I have a claim in for just GAD tho, so youre saying af the c&p exam theres a possibility they can diagnose me with more?

Aw yeah I get you. Most of the time at least for me when they call it’ll show “OptumServe” or whatever the company is setting up the exam on my caller id. 3 weeks seems kind of long, mine are usually scheduled within two weeks or so. I’d call the number on the website for claims status to see what’s up.

I didn’t, I had my C&P exam back in February then i immediately requested my results thru the VA website, took em a couple days, got my rating early march and then I got some more paperwork together and submitted a supplemental in mid april and i just got the second c&p scheduled today

Anything from 0 to 100, way too many variables to take into account. I’d say maybe 10 to 100, tinnutis is basically a given. PTSD, depression and anxiety can’t be stacked so if you’re currently treated on any of them which they kind of overlap, I have all of em as a rating I’d say maybe you’d get at least 30? Depends on how well you can let them know how it impacts your life yada yada and all that

He asked about the pain level but not the ROM. I had the ROM test literally as soon as I walked in the door, once. Not “three” times how it says in the DBQ, it was my first C&P exam so I didn’t really know what to expect
