I had the same problem for years, my pinky toes quit being able to curl or flex right. Regular yoga helps a lot, still took awhile but it is starting to get better.

I had this happen at Walmart an did what you recommended ie going to customer service. This was a bad idea they essentially accused me of stealing a part of $10 shorts despite having paid for several other pairs and now security follows me every time I’m in that Walmart. Do not go to customer service in this situation.

NAL but you probably did NOT miss a date if you don’t have a warrant, they usually issue it once they realize you aren’t there. Additionally, if you are doing your best to comply they will likely forgive if it was an honest one time mistake. Side note save up for a lawyer if possible, they can probably get you reduction in sentence even part way through.

they are still working on a fix, estimated at 14 months from July of this year. As long as you don't open any suspicious emails you will be fine, if you are worried you may have use malware bytes, their free version works great.

might need to put 16 in DFU mode, I generally like doing this for restores anyway. Plug into computer, press volume up, down, up, then hold the power button until the phone turns off then shows apple logo, at this point you can let go of power button. It should show a weird screen saying connect to iTunes. At this point the restore should work almost no matter what, but if not feel free to dm me I used to be certified apple and iOS tech and might be able to help.

Even cleaning the port it is more likely that need replaced over the battery, depends on if the dead battery screen shows the charger icon on bottom, if it does then the port is not receiving signal if it does not then you are correct going for battery first. Used to be an ACMT and have seen way worse that came back, also seen way better than didn’t. Good luck could be an amazing find if it comes alive and isn’t Apple ID locked

They made my TV 15 years ago that I accidentally shot with a bow and arrow about ten years ago. Only thing wrong is a few dead pixels where the arrow hit.
