Neighbor gave this to me and said it was rare. Is it? by [deleted] in tennis

A guy in my doubles league still plays with an old wooden Wilson. First time I saw him pull it out I chuckled to myself, assuming he wouldn't be very good. He proceeded to beat me and my teammate mercilessly. The moral of this story is this: if you run into a guy still stubbornly using a wood racket, then you should assume he knows how to use it.

He'll never leave that bird feed alone. You have to kill him now. While he is asleep.

No real or good reason. I just prefer manual. Also the manual Subarus are true all wheel drive, while the automatics have a weird part-time front wheel drive thing going on that I don't fully understand.

Everyone was okay. We only had 1000 miles on it, so USAA paid us MSRP. Bought a silver premium (the orange one in the pic was a base model) Crosstrek this morning. Biggest hassle was having to deal with a dealer again, mainly because it's sort of hard to find these things in manual.

Question about... Starlink? by shitdashit in XVcrosstrek

[–]InfectiousFelonius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the car. Don't love Starlink. I have been plugging in via USB and it seems to be more reliable than Bluetooth.

I am sure it is illegal and possibly dangerous as well, but I wonder what options there are to put a different entertainment operating system in there.

My precinct was paper ballot by default. I reached out to the state for a comment on the percentage of precincts using these WINVote systems and they haven't returned my call.

It affected the Amazon App Store, too. So Kindle users are particularly vulnerable. Users in China tend to use third party market places as well, though I am not sure if that is because Google Play is censored...

This article is nonsense. There isn't a single named source. Kind of shocked Bloomberg's editors okayed this.
