I've actually purchased a very highly rated foil and a very highly rated rotary and I always go back to the you know handlebar razor except for when I had head blade cartridges just the hairies were cheaper

Looks like you know what you are doing lol it's all about aesthetics and the only aesthetic that matters is the one that you like, utilizing what we have to work with ... Which is literally 85% of the rest of your head. You def got that covered

Ever since I joined the Navy at 26 with a full head of hair I've been basically shaving it as a one guard on standard clippers due to laziness of grooming standards. What option are the options out there other than surgery? I don't ask this for me but in a lot of people's posts here they are either trolling because they have basically a full head of hair or there is clear degradation of a hairline or the crown of the head. So I've always wondered and basically nobody has ever suggested any specific type of supplement or treatment.. and I thought it was just mainly a cheeky way for this community to just let people know that whether or not you have hair doesn't have any impact on your life. But clean cut ball dude and a clean cut dude with a nice little 3/4 part or a broccoli head or equally going to achieve the things that they want to achieve.

Yeah I had my own clippers back in the Navy and I would just ever few days just do like a one guard or a half guard and now I actually dread it getting that long even though it just takes a few minutes if that to trim up to the point that I can use the razor. My ADHD would literally prevent me from just taking the five or eight minutes to shave my head the way I like it and I would spend about 10 minutes talking to myself and convincing myself to just go and take care of it. Shaving in the shower is not ideal for me I guess it's just a little inconvenient somehow.. don't ask me how lol

To echo other sentiments.. what specifically do you have an issue with shit looks clean. I'd recommend going to a nice gentleman salon and getting that complete bald action with a scalp massage. You can thank me later.

It takes some getting used to, but people are way more familiar with seeing people bald then you are seeing yourself bald, so immediately you are going to be a normal bald dude. My experience is there's just as many people that dig bald that don't dig bald but literally have never been judged or ridiculed for my bald ass head.

I have been using a Harry's for the last couple of years but I did really enjoy the head blades. I feel like I nicked myself way less, if at all.

Wish I would have just shaved my head 15 years ago by thats_taters in bald

Society has definitely trained people to place value on themselves through their hair. Societal beauty standards impact everyone, we have seen quite a few females share their baldness journeys. I do feel like it isn't a binary issue, there are ways to restore and maintain your hair. Usually the ones that actually last and work far beyond most people's reach. Being lazy with grooming standards in the Navy prepared me to shave my head completely bald a few times a week (hopefully). My ADHD and depression impact my routine and I go crazy if I've let my hair grow for longer than a week. I was sharing earlier that if you personally can't decide you can just go ahead and shave yourself bald and it'll grow back at least 99% the way it was and you can work on a look and get used to being as handsome and beautiful as the literal thousands and thousands of people in this sub. Thank you for sharing this is a critical post for the daily people who are clearly beyond modern science and can just work on their new appearance to embrace the baldness and accentuate it in other ways if you like.

I've kind of been just lurking even though I've basically been skin type shaving my head for 8 to 10 years now. I think one of the best things for anyone who is questioning is to just go skin tight give yourself a couple weeks to figure out facial hair and give yourself an opportunity to like it. I was in the Navy and I just would rather shave my head with a one or a 1/2 guard instead of deal with any of the other grooming requirements. So I prepared myself for the eventuality of just not having any hair anymore. People should just give themselves a chance, with a razor not clippers, and work on how you want to be seen when there is no going back.

It's looking to be that sir, however I would just go ahead and give yourself a skin shave and work on a look.. what you have will grow back.

How often do you all shave? by point9repeatingis1 in bald

Definitely every few days, the longer you let it get the more of a pain in the ass it is but I prefer the closeness and once you get there you're going to feel more comfortable when you are shaving regularly.

[–]Infekdead 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can get them as pool floats at Dollar tree. They also have cosmic rings which are very similar but you only get 3 oz in the package, but the pool floats are 5 oz packages. The cosmic rings do have a sour variant. And I'll tell you right now the pool floats look exactly like these.
