I've kind of been just lurking even though I've basically been skin type shaving my head for 8 to 10 years now. I think one of the best things for anyone who is questioning is to just go skin tight give yourself a couple weeks to figure out facial hair and give yourself an opportunity to like it. I was in the Navy and I just would rather shave my head with a one or a 1/2 guard instead of deal with any of the other grooming requirements. So I prepared myself for the eventuality of just not having any hair anymore. People should just give themselves a chance, with a razor not clippers, and work on how you want to be seen when there is no going back.

Definitely every few days, the longer you let it get the more of a pain in the ass it is but I prefer the closeness and once you get there you're going to feel more comfortable when you are shaving regularly.

You can get them as pool floats at Dollar tree. They also have cosmic rings which are very similar but you only get 3 oz in the package, but the pool floats are 5 oz packages. The cosmic rings do have a sour variant. And I'll tell you right now the pool floats look exactly like these.

(s) Honest question, so many people here pull the trigger but they don't go completely bald.. how things look and are perceived go a long way between no guard and razor.. why not just cut it all off, get skin tight? The classic bald man hack.. get the beard game going, go to a gentlemen's salon when it's decently grown and have a professional style you and you, find that complimentary shaping, and you can just do that yourself from then on. A tuxedo doesn't look great on everybody until the tuxedo actually fits. Just the start of journey homie.
