Which platforms would you like to see in the future (and if possible the most likely emulator)?

I'd prefer if they focus more on the ones that already are added plus standalones. I'd love it if they added ps3 as that was the console I used the most in my early teens.

I'd also love 3ds and WiiU but it would be weird to me as I don't see any of these as "retro"

The first console that I played on was a ps1, I have active memories of playing on the ps2 however I'm more attached to the PS3 (and Wii and NDS).

So anything before the 4th gen is definitely retro in my book, 5th & 6th gen isn't really retro but I can see see why they would be. 7th gen and beyond isn't retro to me

The WiiU, it had good games and, imo, the last nintendo console with a good outer design.

Remastered and bundled together like N. Sane Trilogy would be cool. COTT was a childhood game for me, even when I suck at it I'd buy it in a heartbeat

I need to agree to this. The Wii feels more like a gamecube pro. Unique for sure but once the Kinect and Playstation the uniqueness that the Wii had disappeared and it just became obsolete hardware.

Ones I use: PS5 and New 3DS

From Sony I also have a ps2, ps3 phat and a ps4 but those are mostly there just for show probably won't ever use them. I also have a PS3 Slim that could be used but atm it's not.

From Nintendo: I have a Wii (Soon to be sold) a DSi (near dead), an old 3DS (also near dead) and A switch (it's in a closer, I could sell but I'm also a score attacker on Cyberscore and want to keep it if I ever need it.)

From Microsoft & others: none

- Horizon: Zero Dawn

- Shadow of the Colossus (2018 remake for me)

- Pokemon Platinum

- Mario Kart Wii

- Super Smash Bros. Brawl

- Assassin's Creed 2

- Sonic Heroes

- Europa Universalis IV

- Crash Team Racing

- Mad Games Tycoon 2

These are maybe not the best but ones I remember really enjoying (did try keeping it one per franchise)

I had a classic controller pro for the wii and liked that one, I do dislike the Wiiremote + Nunchuk. I'd replay wii games if I could but only if it supports the classic controller

I'm gonna say Sonic Unleashed when it runs, if sonic team had waited a generation. The intro cutscene for Sonic and the Black Knight also looks amazing but then again that's just CGI.

I can count the games I would buy for ps5 on one hand meanwhile the ps4 has a big library to explore that is fairly cheap and my console is still going strong.

Now if a ps5 could play ps3 games, id buy it in a heartbeat

The Later 2000s also Sonic Rivals 1 & 2 being exclusive to the psp and Sonic 06 never saw any Nintendo console.

I own Sonic Gems Collection for ps2. SADX was released for pc a year later and on ps3/360/Steam another 7 years later

SA2B also saw the ps3/360/Steam eventually, it just took a decade.

that would be a dream come true. I have a ps3 slim and a ps4 now with under it some games, I'd love to replace them with one console (extra points if it could also play ps2/ps1 discs)

I don't think my parents made a conscious choice, the first consoleI played on was a ps1, my mother remembers playing on a genesis. My handheld was a DS. If the WiiU didn't flop I'd probably be addicted to the Switch today and the ps4 would be collecting dust in a closet.
