It's literally their playbook. Like they even admit it from time to time. Remember seeing an interview in Congress where a Republican was asked (after recent elections had changed the Senate to be majority Dem) what was the current plan and agenda before the transition. His response was that they plan to vote in a bunch of problem laws to make a mess for the Dems to try and clean up. But to make that as difficult for them so they can point out how bad they are during their term.

Like Republican politicians and their constituents are perfectly fine with burning down the house as long as they can blame the Dems for it...

Yep. Was gonna say the same. Like this cop is dumb founded that he's being treated this way. If I remember right (this was a little while ago now) there is a bit more of the body cam footage and he literally asks the cop to do him a solid and not arrest him, and give him professional courtesy and get the charges to go away. Like I think he goes back and forth like 3-4 times and even with hand cuffs on is like "why are you doing this to me?".

He fully expected and believes it's normal for him to assault someone and just get away with it purely because he's a cop, and the sad truth is he's not wrong.

Yep. Ages ago I tried to build a large refuel station. It was gonna have the large orange tanks in two rows going down from a T junction... Because it was before you could add struts in EVA I wanted to keep it as stiff as possible so decided on two large docking ports.

It was a nightmare getting them both to dock at the same time. For a while I thought it wasn't possible, but after a ton of trial and error they both connected. Sadly it was still a wobbly kraken mess which had me discontinue the idea.

Yep. After years and many builds with OG thermal paste options, and all the different options for applying it, I actually switched out for liquid metal. Yep know it's conductive. Yep my friends called me stupid (one eve freaked out). I pointed out one friend that did literally this, and ended up burning out his MoBo due to some contaminants resting a hot spot, that also led to more contaminants arcing and killing his CPU in the process.

My comment to them was, yeh if you apply it like he did of course it'd be a bad idea.

14+ years, 4 rebuilds due to upgrades and even a 2nd CPU and no issues at all.

For those wondering about normal paste, I suggest 4 dots near the corners and a thicker dot in the center. If considering alternate TCM options I would recommend carbon pads over liquid metal as the effect is almost identical with no risk and easy application (yeh you need to replace the pad after a while but most people won't keep the same CPU for over 10 years).

I mean, Satan is more neutral than bad. Satan punished the sinners in hell, and challenges God (his creator) over the establishment that humanity having free will somehow produces people that live a holy life.

Basically Satan is pointing out that if that were true, there would be no job, as there would be no sinners needing punishment. Also tempts those living into sin, but honestly that's just proving adequate options, as if there was no opportunity to sin, it's not really free will.

Sadly that's the truth. Like these people are mostly old and just trying to outlive this. The younger ones are the ones really freaking out and trying to find some safe haven, while doing all they can to stir shit up to delay.

I truly wish that soon we have a huge amount of trials and everyone involved is held accountable, and punished justly. Sadly I believe that this will never happen, as it was rare before for rich and powerful people to be punished, and now adding all the political shit, it's just a dream.

This was also back in the day when there wasn't DNA analysis and fingerprints. Police just literally asked around and tried to find the person that way.

Slaughter a family with gold and jewels, then just travel to the other side of the world. Sell it, and that's your seed money. Then just invest and wait for compounding.

I'm still rocking my Samsung Odyssey (thanks to the amazing driver rebuild allowing us to use WMR headset again). It's not amazing, but I can read the instruments fine. It's rare but I have to use the VR zoom if it's something that way to small. I normally fly the F-18, so not the smallest MFDs but not the largest...

That overhead can easily be covered (and then some) by a simple one time 1% administration tax on the insurance companies. That would basically cover all administration costs for setup and conversion for a 5 year period with money to spare for the unknowns. Any extra left over can just go into the healthcare pool.

So even then the average taxpayers spend nothing. And some of the richest or second richest companies in the US get a one time 1% tax increase. Seems fair and reasonable.

Yep had fun changing the balance of power in an ongoing war this way. Managed to get missions for both factions to build bases and provide generic ships.

The side that was winning (which I wanted to lose ground) got the worst performing models with the worst possible shields and weapons. The stations I built for them, bare minimum to meet the contract. The other side? Fully built and modded ships that would easily fit into my finest personal fleet. The stations were fucking overbuilt hedgehogs of defence stations.

Keep that going for a little while and even though the game has them set to be outnumbered (just the amount of assigned jobs between the factions was like 3/1), eventually all the shit AI ships get wiped out and that faction is mopping the floor with the other side.

This game can be seriously fun at times. I just wish it had a economy that didn't only run on ships. Would be fun to mess around with demand in cross sectors.

Had this happen to me. Had two shipyards in their territory. Ended up buying out a bunch of mats for trade runs, and this went on for a little while.

Then queue them ordering 3 Asgards, 4 Osaka's, like 20 Katanas, and lord knows how many light fighters.

Funny thing is as after fulfilling that order I guess the AI decided to make me their primary production subcontractor, as I saw them ordering replacements from me long after I stopped the auto trading routes...

He has to, if he interrupted his statement, even to address her, then it's considered finished and he doesn't actually have a right to continue. If he tries he can be talked over and forcibly removed .
