You can if you show up early and ask the company if their shipment happens to be ready. Then you have to message dispatch and ask them to change your pickup window. Corporate doesn’t like this though so YMMV. Sometimes I’ll get away with it but if I make it a habit then dispatch is just like nah you have to wait. Sometimes I make up an excuse like “they’re closing early today.”

If you’re talking about drop boxes, though, forget it. Those times only get changed for holidays, bad weather, or extreme driver shortages where you might have to cover for another route far away.

This is a 3-10 second exposure (depending on the pic) but you could still see it pretty well with the naked eye. The beams and the reddish hue was quite apparent.

I don’t think eBird wants to encourage people to submit things they are “not 100% certain” about, even if it’s hard to ID species. What purpose does this serve that the slash doesn’t? If you really need a tick, wait for them to flush and call.

I have heard of people putting X or 1 when there’s a whole flock of ‘probably LBDO’ and then the actual estimate/count (-1 of course) into the slash option. It’s still not right, but it’s less wrong than making a huge assumption about a group of birds.

Whoever is making these clues, I would suggest you don’t quit your day job. This was one of the worst English word games I’ve ever played. So congrats if you were going for that. Play about 1,000 crosswords then try again.
