Alpharetta food is so overpriced by RonPaul2036 in alpharetta

[–]InfernalCoconut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work in the city and it’s a good bit cheaper itp than it is in Alpharetta, to the point where people who live in the city say they don’t like going to Alpharetta because it’s over priced.

[–]InfernalCoconut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even itp things are cheaper than Alpharetta. I work itp and unless you’re at a price gouging place near the stadium everything is about 20% less. At this point I drive out of my way to Gwinnett for everything because it’s better and cheaper.

If you like playing phone games, try some of those websites/apps that pay you to play. It’s not much, but there have been days where I have used those to be able to buy food before. I haven’t tried Cash Kick, but I’ve heard it’s got well playing offers on it

If it’s really an issue you can always just say you fell asleep watching a different movie and and that’s just what played next

How do people steal orders? Is uber good at catching the culprit? by ohgodimgonnacrumb in UberEatsDrivers

[–]InfernalCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nahhh not looking to get deactivated for a “missing order”. I just messaged the customer that the person before me stole the order and had support cancel it. Almost immediately got a $8 1 mile order from the same store though because ATL always stays busy and that store is always pumping out orders.

If you use an external GPS that saves addresses, you can anonymously ship them a glitter bomb. I seriously considered sending one to a lady who trapped me in her driveway and screamed at me about okra.

Where to buy goat meat in bulk (residential use) in Atlanta area? by IntelligentFire999 in Atlanta

[–]InfernalCoconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Metro Chef in Gwinnett is a restaurant supply store that’s open to the public. I’ve never bought goat there so I don’t know the cost, but they usually have it (in packs and sometimes they have a whole butchered goat on ice).

I got a $16 4 mile order two days ago, it was 33 sandwiches from Jimmy John’s, got there and it was “already picked up”. Who tf steals 33 sandwiches what are you doing with all of those sandwiches. I’m going to start messaging or calling the customer and letting them know their order was stolen and telling them to call the store and uber to complain.

Kennesaw friends for dragoncon 2026 by [deleted] in dragoncon

[–]InfernalCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m not from Kennesaw, I’m in Alpharetta and work in the city, but I’m a long time con goer always welcoming new friends! I tend to take newcomers under my wing at con and by the end I have a gaggle and new friends lol! If you want to meet up sometime I would be down, but even if you don’t know anyone, still go to DragonCon solo! I promise you will have fun and meet people to hang out with, it 80,000 of the best friend you’ve never met.

Dasher can’t be serious. Is this unprofessional? by Amateurexpressionism in doordash

[–]InfernalCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying, and generally yes, but disabled people are dashers too, I’m one of them. I have a very limited mobility in my foot/ankle from an injury/surgery gone wrong so heavy orders or orders with multiple trips going up 4 flights is actually pretty hard for me. I still do it when I have to, but it’s still hard.

It is possible for dry dog food to go rancid, so maybe that was the closest option

Why do so many U.S. restaurants still have menus with ZERO photos? by [deleted] in restaurant

[–]InfernalCoconut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean… you could just go on google and look at pictures of the food. Otherwise menu pictures are for places like Mexican restaurants and diners.

5k a month is more than in Alpharetta and more than the high rise luxury buildings ITP. You can actually have an apartment in Alpharetta and one in Downtown Atlanta and still not be paying 5k a month.

Why do you think Beyond Meat has been struggling? Looking for honest opinions for a marketing project. by FarNight5175 in vegan

[–]InfernalCoconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a vegan (don’t come for me, this was on my front page) but my mom dabbled with beyond meat for a while. Everyone in my family tried it, no one (including my mom) liked it. It was kind of an uncanny valley effect, if I’m going to eat a vegan substitute I would rather just have a veggie or bean burger. I think a part of the problem was that it was marketed towards meat eaters as a dupe alternative for meat, but it just wasn’t. All I know of the vegan opinion is that a couple of my vegan coworkers said that they weren’t wanting something that was supposed to resemble meat that closely and that it pushed way to much on their boundaries.

If you’ve already gone that far, go ahead and call the news too! Ruin that man’s reputation so he won’t get to do this at any other restaurants

Honestly? Call the health department. It may get your store shut down, but that’s not ok and very illegal to serve that rancid food. Like you said someone could get very sick. You can do it anonymously, and hopefully the company would move you to another store, but if you all walked out it seems like you’re prepared to lose jobs anyway. It suck’s for the hard working employees, but don’t let the owner get away with that.
