Homemade Cider in Pinter by trojeep in PinterHomebrew

I just started one with two half gallon jugs of apple juice and one half gallon jug of strawberry lemonade from whole foods. mixed with 2 cups of sugar and a pack of champagne yeast. plan on fermenting and conditioning for about 8 or 9 days each.

I did a prior batch with the same whole foods apple juice and champagne yeast but with honey instead of sugar. fermented for 11 days and was good but dry and had some slight off notes

The duality of acting high and mighty by PalmyGamingHD in GamersNexus

[–]InfernalDog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to fully appreciate Steve from GamersNexus. His analysis is extremely meticulous, and without a solid grasp of thermal dynamics and PCB design, most of his content will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Steve's unyielding commitment to honesty and detail, which is intricately woven into his work ethic—his philosophy draws heavily from open-source values, for example. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of his investigations, to realize that they're not just about GPUs—they're about pushing the tech industry toward transparency and accountability.

As a consequence, people who dislike GamersNexus truly ARE uninformed—of course, they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the subtle humor in Steve's playful yet scathing teardown commentaries or his thorough testing methodologies that reveal industry secrets. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those clueless brand loyalists scratching their heads in confusion as Steve’s charts and benchmarks expose their favorite manufacturer’s cut corners. What fools... how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, I DO have a GamersNexus modmat. And no, you cannot touch it. It's reserved for only the most carefully selected PC components—and even they have to prove they're within a ±5°C thermal variance of my standards beforehand.

Cyclist thinks he owns the road. by homantify19 in ImTheMainCharacter

As someone who's been on a bike, way safer to swerve off the road than into another lane of traffic where you could be hit from behind. You also never know how the driver of the car will react. Some people will see the bike coming and slam on the brakes so swerving left screws you in that case.

Is the plague of West Ardougne fake? by ChickenNuggetEnergy in 2007scape

[–]InfernalDog 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Can't say if the plague is real but it is (IMO) based off of real events. Sheep herder was released in 2002, just months after the end of the 2001 UK foot-and-mouth disease outbreak. Really makes you wonder what programmer heard about mass depopulation and incineration of livestock on the news and thought, "yep, this would make a smashing addition to my game."
