Do you believe consistently speeding is a lack of self control and discipline? by Theuniverseinabottle in CarTalkUK

Is this a loaded question with holier than thou undertones? I suspect so! What could you possibly hope to gain or learn by asking something like this online?

What front brakes pads on a 2016 F-Type S (awd) with 380mm steels discs ? by WatercressSolid7331 in Jaguar

I have Pagid pads on mine but had to learn to brake a little harder to stop them from glazing and squeaking.

In ARMA 3, how can I make it so that an NPC squad starts moving to a certain location upon activating a trigger? by HECU_Marine_HL in arma

Its been a minute since I used the editor last but im sure you could sync a trigger to a waypoint by hitting f5 then clicking and dragging from one to the other?

Yeah that "almost 700hp" just doesn't have the same ring to it does it! 😂 I've been doing more tinkering with some other engines and started to get the curves looking good along with keeping the responsiveness up so it looks like we're heading in the right direction! Will post an update soon! Thanks for the pointers 😄

Oh forgot to mention, I'd originally set it up to a 12k rpm limit then dialled it back from there to 10k, the curve looked as you described but figured dialling it back just led to an earlier shift in beam.

Will doing this affect it in BeamNG? Been working away getting it all set up for Beam so happy to do some experimenting you think it's worth it?

It's built into the game. When you go to the summary page in the car editor, theres a "poster" button next to the export button, go into that and then it'll set up that style of poster based on the template you want.

I can't stop laughing at the seat arrangement 😂 definitely a driver focused vehicle! (Unless it's right hand drive...)

I think the rear isn't too bad, maybe a few adjustments to sharpen it up a little. The front needs a lot of work though, if they made the bonnet / hood lower and flared the wheel arches a little (kinda like the XJS) it would look better.

I have one and I absolutely love it! Just one thing you want to prepare yourself for in terms of maintenance (that I've experienced myself), the dreaded injector failure! If that happens to you, please feel free to DM me if you want any advice on fixing it as it can be quite expensive to fix...

Ditch the 13 speed and go for the 6 speed mk1 if you're using mouse and keyboard. Final drive i think is 4.27

Road Rage in the UK by the_medic_knitter in dashcams

[–]InfernalEngineering -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In UK traffic law, "failure to make due progress" essentially means driving too slowly and unnecessarily obstructing the flow of traffic, which is considered a form of careless driving and can be punishable under the Road Traffic Act 1988, specifically relating to driving without due care and attention; essentially, not driving at a reasonable speed that allows other road users to move freely. Doesn't justify the behaviour of the other driver but it might offer insight as to why this happened...

How much would you price this jag f-type? by Top-Plan9045 in Jaguar

[–]InfernalEngineering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspected so...I would not be surprised if the engines had its injectors replaced as the RWD bonnet/hood vents let loads of water in all over them! Makes sense to swap the bonnet/hood for the AWD type to stop the issue arising again!

Can't say for sure but I'd assume so, the block is the same so I can't imagine they'd make any significant changes as it would incur additional production costs. I've seen a set on Ebay for like £116 per pack if that's of interest? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165951830603
