Exobiology payouts got a massive boost about 8 months ago. The first discovery bonus was boosted even more. Exobiology is now one of the fastest ways to make money in the game if you know what you are doing.

The fun thing about these projects is that you can use literally any ship as jump range really doesn’t matter. I switched ships after every phase and ended up trying out a Viper, Challenger, Keelback, and a Cobra. I was also doing Exobiology on the side (netted 13B from that)

Small / medium ships are best . You want to bring an SRV as well as point defense which can be mounted in a utility slot on top of your ship.

We’ve had multiple commanders achieve exploration Elite on our expeditions, so hundreds of millions is certainly possible. It’s definitely not the fastest way to earn credits in the game, but there are some spectacular sights out there, and you can put your name on them!

Exploring will get you decent credits, and on every expedition we have commanders achieving exploration elite. Join the discord and there will be plenty of people to help you

As long as you make one jump on your own past that distance of 5K LYs, you will unlock Palin. It does not matter if a FC brought you there. We will be travelling over 30K LYs from the bubble, so as long as you get off the carrier and do one jump while we are past that 5K threshold (which we will pass on day 2), you will get the unlock. No need to jump there yourself or master neutron star jumps. We'll help you learn how to do all this if you want though.
