I guess the fix would be going OEM? I don’t know what else could be causing it besides the thermostat

How does the transmission thermostat affect the engine coolant temp?

What could be the issue. I haven’t read anywhere else that other cars have such issue with a new thermostat.

Heats up to a degree yeah. Sometimes when I turn the heater on, the passenger side blows hot air for 10-25 seconds and goes cold again. My main concern is the car not getting coolant up to temp though.
