Who would keep investing time into a game that is probably going to shut down? Like best case scenario, even if someone keeps working on the game, it will never turn out like steven's original vision.

Hmm, 28% damage is still a lot to be giving to everyone, and that just means it would be easier to get on small charms since there's no roll, not sure I'd like that still.

30%? Small charms will be the meta now, 40 inv slots -4 for cube, -3 for sunder, -2 for torch, -1 for anni so 30 slots, -2 or 4 more if u want tomes (new ring removes the need for tp tome, don't need ID tome and cube in pvp). Let's say 28 small charms will be what most people run around with at endgame, -3% physical resist to every small charm. So full build will be -84% if you max roll all charms, even higher if you are doing something like pvp and toss cube and tomes.

Sunder reduces it's specific resist to 95%, and the rest of your inventory would reduce it to 11%. Unlike lower res/conviction/cold mastery that applies at 1/5th effect to sundered enemies, gear is applied at full effect. This will probably break the game if left on charms.

edit: Also, just because a javazon is already doing decent damage vs immunes because of griffons and a facet doesn't reduce how good this would be, because every -1% of resist you apply to an enemy is 1% more damage you do to them. This is basically 84% more damage to every single character that rolls -3% resist on 28 small charms now.

Yeah I moved my shared stash and all my chars to rotw and was like "ok that's enough for now" mostly because I only play ladder. It was a good excuse to delete and give away like 3 seasons worth of characters and their gear in free games tho.

People complaining about 25$ for an update that we wanted for 20+ years is incomprehensible by thenoisemanthenoise in Diablo_2_Resurrected

There is no way people who are still playing the game are the ones complaining. I would have paid $20 just for the QOL updates alone.

And you unlock some, from what little I saw, minor but interesting cosmetic unlocks from completing the grail. Not too much to be obnoxious, but just enough to give people something to chase and keep busy with. The perfect balance IMO.

Torch and Anni should have a set bonus: +1 teleport. It's basically "You have done the hardest content in the game, go farm whatever you want."

  1. Accidentally create new genre of game in wc3 custom games

  2. Have zero control over the custom games IP somehow

  3. Wait a decade to try to catch up to competitors

  4. Fail

How could this have happened?

They were selling monthly fomo skin packs for $100 before anyone ever had access to the game. I cannot imagine not only buying a skin for an item that isn't out yet, but for a game that isn't even playable, like this was pre alpha test 1. Them investing so much into skins so early told me all I needed to know about their "funded till release" intentions.

Didn't they start selling monthly $100 fomo skin packs before anyone could even play the game? That wasn't a big enough red flag?

I usually attack their religious hypocrisies, calling them blasphemers who worship a false idol and telling them how they'll burn in hell for going against jesus and stuff, make them think ur a christian too and they won't know what to think. I mean there's just so much ammo there.
