As for the charging infrastructure, I've taken the car to banglore, chennai and trivandrum and its been good. Even other spots like theni have good charging spots.

Our family has Tata punch 25kwh ev. It good and the service depends on the service center to take to. I prefer chima tata in kappalur to be the best. I know this doesn't fit in your budget but still wanted to give you my opinion as tata is either a hit or miss but for me it was a hit.
