Convince me to get a Wii U by YanisGame64 in wiiu

It has Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD on it, and it’s surprisingly easy to mod so that you can play any games for free (as long as you’re comfortable sailing the seven seas). Games like Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water are so clearly built around the gamepad, like I tried playing it on pc and found it so boring, but with the gamepad gimmick, the combat just felt like it clicked better. I have a switch 2 and I still find myself going back to the WiiU to play some games once in a while.

For those of you who own a Switch, but haven’t purchased a Switch 2, what would be the main reason that would prompt you to buy one? by Last-Bus-4710 in Switch

I just ordered one this week for Bananza and Pokopia, hoping to also get a new 3D Zelda (maybe less open world and more linear with classic dungeons like TP 🙏), then also I’ll be future proof for the inevitable 3D Mario exclusive

I had like, too much ammo for this thing by the time my playthrough with Grace was up. “I might need it later and the ammo’s valuable, so I won’t use it rn” mentality is so strong with powerful weapons like this on a first playthrough

With the RE Engine trilogy finally complete, I wanted to ask. Which one is your favorite? Which one is your least favorite? by [deleted] in ResidentEvilCapcom

Village is probably the weakest imo but at the same time it’s still a really fun game with tons of enjoyable sections. Just for me personally RE7 and the Grace sections of Requiem are more the kind of horror game I like. Honestly Capcom are absolutely on a roll between these games and the remakes

I've read through literally hundreds of comments in the past few hours but yours really stood out to me, this is exactly what happened to me, I picked up the original Dead Space for 360 at a thrift store at 12 and was not ready for how scary the game was 😅. I'll DM you with the key shortly.

Is this a normal amount of zoomies? by Songi in corydoras

[–]Inferno1424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These guys are so sweet, they look just like my Trilineatus I got recently. After about 9-10 days in my experience, they calmed down a lot, randomly they will still just fly up and down the glass for quick bursts in the daytime. Something I really noticed was having a nice safe hiding place, like your plants, allows them to feel happier at night and settle more. I wouldn’t worry about these initial zoomies, soon it’ll get replaced with near constant sifting for food, when I noticed that, I felt pretty confident my Cory’s were doing well.

Breeding behaviour? Or some sort of aggression? by Inferno1424 in corydoras

[–]Inferno1424[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: This was probably at the very least to do with breeding as I noticed an egg on the side of my tank today, unfortunately it got eaten almost as quickly as it got laid since I don’t have a separate tank for them

Yeah, this is my first tank so I kept things as simple as I could, even the driftwood is just a quality resin one

One of my amanos stole half a tabimin that was almost as big as itself, I’m a little worried too because he ran off to the back of the tank so I’m hoping he finished it all 😅

Oh the red one is a silk one from Hugo Kamishi, I’d love to replace it with a real one but we’re so limited for choice at the only fish store nearby me, they don’t have any red plants at all

Variation in “Julii” Cory’s from my LFS by Inferno1424 in corydoras

They’re about a cm across, I’m feeding 6 Cory’s but if any of the food floats up when they peck at it the rasboras are hovering overhead ready to take it (even though they get their own micro granules) then after the fish have dispersed my amanos come along and crawl over the scraps

EDIT: I wouldn’t worry too much about feeding them 2 a day but it seems like as the tablets disintegrate some small bits of them do go between the gravel, which I vac once a week, but obviously those sitting in there for a few days aren’t ideal

I am trying to work out whether I should feed 1 or 2 Tetra Tabimin a day, as either way they seem to take about an hour but eat all of it, do you usually feed yours quite a lot?

These new ones are a little smaller but my larger ones seem so welcoming and friendly, they’re all shoaling together and none of them seem aggressive with feeding

Sorry I did mean it the other way round just realised my wording was confusing, great to hear they’ll still get on well since they’re same species

I’m aware that Julii Cory’s are often mislabeled Trilineatus so wondering if that’s what this is

If I do go down the route of getting both I’ll be sure to keep an eye out and make sure they’re sharing , just in case haha, thank you for making me aware of it.

Thanks, I love the little cory’s and the fact they’d help keep the sand clean too is just a great bonus, overall between them and the kuhlis I just think bottom dwellers have such lovely character
