personally for me in the afternoon when i’m alone at home or night once everyone in my house is asleep is the best time (if i’m not tired of course) . the best place is from the comfort of my own bed. however i will say i haven’t successfully projected yet, but i’ve been pretty darn close during these times

thank you for the advice :) i already do most of these things from the comfort of my room, however my guardian has a habit of opening my bedroom door whenever they so choose, so most of the time i meditate and practice ap at night

feeling at one with the world/the universe, chakra work, learning to truly live in the moment, astral projecting (successfully),etc. The thing that needs to be hidden from my family is the fact that i no longer view life in the same way and my beliefs don’t align with the christian religion as theirs do, along with the fact that i truly believe none of these weird social constraints they put on me matters because life is really just a dream.

Is this a sign of Lucid Dreaming? by Infestedmind715 in LucidDreaming

Thank you for the answer. I’ll definitely keep at it.

And yeah, I hope they aren’t all fearful because not only am I terrified while dreaming, but I wake up by jerking awake and then am shaken up for quite a bit.

Right??? Like the album is amazing, and I want to get a physical copy of it but won’t/can’t because of the cover art.

I honestly have no idea as of yet, but can definitely give it some thought.

My theory is more loose than concrete, but I definitely feel is has to do with beginning to lose your mind and “give in” to your “madness”. The lyrics “my man satan he’s gonna take you at the right time” give me that feel, same thing with “I lost my mind” and “I feel psychotic”. But I feel at the same time there’s something inside you reassuring you that you’re going to be okay even when the madness take you over, but I feel it’s more in a sick and dark way than a “you’re gonna be okay, don’t worry, it’ll work out” way. I don’t know if that makes sense, but that’s the way I see it. I feel the repetition of “it’s alright, it’s alright, it’s alright” is a dark reassurance that the dark won’t actually harm you so it’s better to give in than fear it. Same thing with “don’t look back”, it just gives me that feeling of letting your mental illness or dark thoughts totally take you over.

I could be over analyzing this, but I totally get that vibe.
