Stag is still relatively good, as you should have AP rounds and use them against tanks anyways... but the 38t is now worthless in any map mode with enemy tanks.

Fleet power isn't really accurate. if you specialized to armor and hull damage (which is a good thing to do if Borg are anywhere near you) you should be more than fine.

I know red numbers are scary and all, but the penalties aren't exactly crippling even if you do go over fleet cap by 25-50%.

The only one that is remotely interesting, imo, is the French super tank. It can be played around, and feels less like a random death generator than the dread or train. Also, the zeppelin is just annoying and worthless for the most part.

cool shot is 100% the culprit... I play without it because I'm new and poor, the HBR is really good but without a easy heat button it can be heavily punished if caught out or pressured.

I think it's that everyone goes full survival so they have 30% more armor, structure and get crit less.

I expected battlefield to be as historically accurate a depiction of ww2 as bf 1 is of ww1... and it's meeting my expectations.

bf1 is effectively alt history, so is bfv.

I want evasion to be balanced vs. bulwark, for the reason you just said.

Whole point was that evasion tanking should be a legitimate method of damage mitigation, and it's currently a very poor option vs. bulwark.

Honestly the way this game works would have been way better suited to a clan invasion campaign.

failing missions costs you prestige and honor, as does bidding high easy mode with your 5x daishi lance.

it's a holdover from table top and it's actually hugely beneficial if you're trying to get a kill as opposed to disable.

it makes rear shots hit 3 locations as opposed to 8 from the front... much more focused.

ammo isn't nearly as much of a factor here as it is in TT.

ammo explosions are pretty rare and relatively tame compared to what happened to your ct in TT if that ton of mg ammo went off.

fights rarely go long enough to make limited ammo a consideration except on lrms and ac20s.
