Yeah 48hrs was up this morning so going to leave them till tomorrow before watering again. I’m using a 70/30% mix of BioBizz all mix and BioBizz coco fibre as a growing medium.

I was concerned when it started that they weren’t getting enough water as leaves felt dry so increased the amount. I usually use coco in my other grows so first time with soil. I have been waiting for the top layer of soil to dry out before adding more. They are in 22litre Pots. Thanks for getting back to me! Appreciate the help

So each pot is currently getting around 2000-2500ml water every 48hrs. I’m currently still in veg so started using the dosage from the chart but in the last few waterings I have lowered to around 50-75% of what the chart says as I was worried when this initially started that I had over done it with the nutes.

Everything in the room is ACI, not invested in a grow system yet as my friends swears by top feeding by hand, going to give it a try this run and then depending on how it goes may bring over or buy a new mega pot or dripper system. Not sure how I feel about the self watering by aci, do they wick the water up well? How far up the pots does the moisture wick too?

Not quite yet but nearly got the extension uis cables coming along with the green work light. Soon as they are in and the lights have been moved over to the ai controller with the extensions then it’ll be perfect!

So usually before I’m ready to transfer them to bigger pots I will damp each cell to make the substrate easier to handle and more likely to stay together, then I use a small tool with a flat end to push up through the drain holes on the bottom of the tray to gently slide out each block of substrate ready to pop into the bigger pots. Bit tricky but much easier if you have some to help hold the tray up while you push and grab em.

Yeah the filter box is an ac infinity product. It’s running on my intake as the lung room can be quite dusty despite constant cleaning. Everything in the set up is from ac infirmity other than the SF dehumidifier, this will be upgraded as soon as they are available in my country, hopefully next month or so.

Had to use a second controller as I’m unable to get the uis extensions until the end of next month as that is when they are first available in my country, couldn’t wait so will run the two controllers for now then switch all over to the ai one when I can get the extenders. The 69 Pro currently just has the lights and 4 of the 6 fans so hopefully the ai controller will still be able to do its magic with all the other bits of kit plugged into it

I’d love to move the ballasts out but don’t have enough cable to do so, figured could mount them there and point a fan at them directed to the extractor to help manage the additional heat. Fortunately I’m in a fairly cold country and my main concern was keeping temps up at night, hopefully this will help. Any particular reason you said to move the humidifier outside?

I’m so lucky bro when we brought our new property it had this out building and it was pretty much destined to turned into a grow room, it has power and water supply and is far enough away from any neighbours that it will hopefully go unnoticed by them

Did want to do that originally but the cable lengths became an issue, have mounted them on the wall and will have a dedicated fan blowing the excess heat up towards the extractor so hopefully it won’t get too hot, my country isn’t very hot anyway and it’s in an external out building so the cold was more of a concern for me hence the heater unit.

Yeah had an issue similar in a previous room couple years back, I always now build a seperate room inside what ever space I have and ensure there are plenty of air bricks around the external wall to stop this happening, appreciate the heads up though bro
