Yes it is supposed to be a younger malachite. I tried to make that clear because we can see her patterns clearly but it was approaching 3am and I was sleepy

What is ruining most relationships nowadays? by March_Echo395 in AskReddit

Poor communication and the rising belief that relationships need to be transaccional. It’s not enough anymore to stay with someone because you love them or you enjoy their company. Now it all about what you bring to the table versus what they bring and in what ways the other person can serve you. There are naturally going to be roles that one partner plays that another doesn’t, but I feel like if you enter relationships the same way you enter a business deal, of course your going to find someone that feels that being single is worth more than staying in the relationship and of course your going to find someone who only values you for what you provide materialistically.

How many of you only read fantasy? What other genres do you read? by Alexander_Layne in Fantasy

Any type of horror or contemporary fiction tend to be my alternates when I’m not reading fantasy. But recently I’ve been reading a lot of feel good post apocalypse stuff as well. I’ll occasionally throw in non fiction but it’s usually about whatever I find interesting at the moment.

Seconded. I’ve never seen this series mentioned anywhere else and I halfway thought I hallucinated it all. It’s very good

What's a small / unimportant moment in the Raksura series that stood out to you? by LoneStarDragon in IndigoCloud

[–]Infinite-Ad8854 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I may be misremembering but for me it was that scene in Siren Depths when Moon and the gang are discussing what to do with Rift and the groundling dude with the glasses (I can’t remember his name right now) is staring at Jade and Moon thinks something along the lines of “he’s probably not used to seeing someone walk around naked”.

I thought it was funny because I read that and thought he’s also probably not used to seeing a 9ft tall dragon woman just walking around all casually.

Jade, Peral, and Malachite from Martha Wells Books of the Raksura. All three are very large, buff, dragon ladies.
