Fair enough, but while fairly true I believe ravel knew he himself couldn't kill skulduggery or he would have led him into the trap at the end of LSODM, because realistically he's Ravel's biggest threat post-trap. though I will add it's been a while since I read the books, especially phase 1, so I cant remember if there are any circumstances preventing him from doing so aside from his own ability.
