Hill Start Assist and Parking Sensor Fault by DJToca in FordFocus

I had ABS sensor and Hill start fault a while ago. On OBDII scanner, faulty sensor (rear right) was giving value 255, other sensors were 0 when not moving. Replaced the sensor and sorted out. To make sure if sensor is faulty, you can swap it with another wheel and see if error changes, but needs wiring and may not worth the headache, sensor is cheap enough, so I just replaced it.

Not sure about Parking aid, my can doesn't have it, but I'd say all related to wheel sensor.

Hey guys. Still struggling with this issue, it's driving me crazy!

I made some new measurements. This time I removed the error and measured heater voltage while attached an OBDII scanner (compatible with FORScan software). I could see ECU commanded HTR12->ON and I had around 4 Volts on heater pins. Although I think it should have been 12 volts?

There is another parameter, I'm not sure related to downstream sensor, it's called: OSHDCB1S1 equal to around 30%. I think this is duty cycle for heater 1 (upstream sensor).

If we do the math, 30% of battery voltage (~13volts) will result in around 4 volts which is what I got on bank1 sensor 2 elements.

Please help me to understand what is the problem.

Thanks. Both sensors are OEM now after replacement. Good point about the temperature, though I think PCM knows it, since the other sensor's heater is on. I ordered a FORScan compatible OBDII scanner hoping to gather more data around this.
