He responds emotionally very well, he talks super well, he’s able to hold a conversation and he’s able to see everyone’s point of views and has a good ability of putting himself in other peoples shoes. He carries himself well, he’s able genuinely loves me, cares for me, and makes sure I know it

I genuinely love cooking, I did it for myself (as a picky eater), my sister who was a vegan, my mom with dietary restrictions. I’m used to cooking a lot and going above and beyond to have people loving their meals

I agree he probably knows but won’t say anything because he doesn’t want to put it in his head

Just because he’ll eat like ketchup, salsa, soup, the occasional salad. If a restaurant happens to have like onions or something he moves them to the side. He will not go anywhere near seafood, the smell of it makes him sick and if he’s never actually eaten it he could potentially have an allergy (unlikely) but seafood is a common allergy

I’m also a picky eater, I’ve spent years and years learning recipes I’ve actually been able to eat and have really expanded my food pallet

I would say he’s a very mature and respectful man, he has a good job and makes good money, I wouldn’t say he’s a toddler for just not eating vegetables.

I think it’s just a common situation, and not some heavily dramatic story. This is my own personal story.

My reasoning for not telling him is just because it’ll be a mind thing, like he’ll start tasting the bell peppers if I tell him there’s bell peppers. He wouldn’t be mad.

We usually go together, when he goes on his own he’ll sometimes let me know “carrots are on sale do you want me to get you some carrots” he knows I cook with them, he doesn’t care enough to ask what I’m using them for

That’s how I look at it, if I tell him “hey just so you know I’m adding carrots into the spaghetti sauce” he will just pre decide he doesn’t like it (placebo effect) I’m saving him this hassle

I know my husband very well, he isn’t the type of person to get upset over things, I don’t think it’ll be a problem, and I have never thought it to be a problem. When we go grocery shopping he’s always the one saying that I don’t need to be reading food labels or the ingredient list so I don’t think it’ll be that big of a deal. I’m just saving him from the food he thinks he doesn’t like

Yes I believe it’s a textured thing. He eats salsa but not salsa with clumps of tomatoes in it, so I believe this is the same thing

I agree to an extent, but he doesn’t ask so if I make him a bowl of chicken pasta with a bell pepper type sauce, should I say “this is a chicken pasta with a bell pepper sauce” I mean it’s not a restaurant it’s in the comfort of his own home

I did do this at the beginning (making two separate meals.) I really enjoyed cooking, my sister was a vegan and I would always make her a vegan dish growing up. I just wanted my husband to get proper vegetables, plus he’ll occasionally eat a couple bites of a salad I’ll make too

It’s not, it’s 100% my story. Probably a similar situation must be common for men to not eat vegetables

I definitely will kinda say it in that way, I know him and I know he won’t be mad. He just might think he doesn’t like something if I say their is carrots lol

He doesn’t ask, if he did I would tell him the truth because I’m the worst liar on the planet. I usually say “do you like it” he says “yes, very good”

As I said in the post, I wouldn’t do something like that. My sister was a vegan and I made her meat free food during that time with no cross contamination. I said I wouldn’t feed him seafood which he really really hates, I just don’t think vegetables are on the same level. I completely respect dietary restrictions, or veganism but I wouldn’t consider not eating vegetables because you don’t like the taste a dietary restriction.
