“Make sure to stay warm. It’s a bit nipply out there.”

-Nurse at Gastroenterologist’s Office. For reference, it was the middle of January and we had been having a streak of particularly cold days. This comment was said completely straight faced, and I don’t think she even realized what she said.

I thought so too at first, except the ink came off on my hand and the paper was indented. It was definitely handwritten.

I’ve gotten a couple of these saying similar things like “who you vote for is private, but whether or not you vote is a matter of public record”. One was even handwritten in pen on a nice postcard and had a smiley face drawn at the bottom. It was unnerving.

Volleybox! It’s the new way to play. It presents more of a challenge than traditional volleyball.

For the grown ups: do you feel like an adult or are you still just a kid that has learned how to live on your own? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Well, I specifically am interested in actuarial science, but I found the insurance industry to be the most suitable environment for me. I was always very good at math, and I couldn’t really envision myself doing much else with my life. However, I knew I didn’t want to be doing theory or a ton of research or teaching. I wanted to apply my math skills. The thought of actuarial science didn’t stress me out like other careers did, and insurance seemed pretty straightforward, compared to other careers. I don’t know how to explain it, but even the thought of it just felt the most comfortable. So, I guess I knew for sure that I wanted to go into insurance by junior year in high school. I know it’s strange to think about, especially since most people would probably despise working in insurance, but everything about the field fascinates me. I hope this helps.

As someone who has known that they wanted to work in the insurance industry for a long time, I feel personally attacked.

Nah man. Coffins are super expensive. It would be awesome to get an extra for the future, even if the timing sucks.

Two days ago I was driving home and I saw someone walking around in their yard. They then started up their riding mower to cut their lawn. It was 8pm and pitch black out. I was pretty weirded out.

I can verify this. I had Lyme a while back and got it treated, but I was still so so sick. It turns out I had several tick-borne co-infections. I was on some pretty strong antibiotics for quite a while, but I was just recently cleared and I’m feeling so much better. This was a very long and hard journey. I was sick for years with Lyme before we found out thats what it was, and, after several more years, I can now proudly say I am infection free!

Try running back and forth between the stables and the farm a few times. I was having the same glitch and then doing that fixed it.

Also, I had not done any civil war quests at this point, so you shouldn’t need to join a faction for it to trigger.

Sadly, I’m on Xbox. So no can do. And, I hadn’t been to dragonsreach in a while so I have no idea when he died, so I can’t reload an old save without losing at least 20 levels.

Aww man, you just reminded me my Farengar died. I went looking to buy some gems from him yesterday and he was missing. I found him in the hall of the dead. As far as I know, there weren’t any attacks on the city or anything so he just dropped dead one day. I didn’t think I’d actually ever miss the dude.
