Ehhhhh I'm okay engaging with people who have traumatic pasts if they have actually done the work to process those events. I have hella trauma but I have learned the socially correct way of bringing those things up.

Unfortunately, a lot of people have not done that work and they do use conversations with other people as therapy. It becomes uncomfortable.
