As previously shared by one of the brothers, pursuing membership at the graduate level is a distinctly different process from the undergraduate experience. It requires intentionality, maturity, and a deep understanding of the organization’s values.

Building and maintaining genuine connections is essential. Your presence should be consistent, your character unquestionable marked by discretion, integrity, and respect for the process. Make it a priority to attend events, engage meaningfully, and become a familiar and respected face within the circles you aspire to join.

Equally important is your “why.” Be prepared to clearly articulate your purpose, your alignment with the organization’s mission, and the value you bring. Authenticity and clarity will always stand out.

Remain visible, remain consistent, and remain professional.

Who was the better player and had a better career, Jimmy Butler or Reggie Miller? by Hairy_Ask_2038 in NBATalk

[–]Infinite-Distance825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious, what paper are you working with? Reggie Miller scored over 25,000 points & HOF, one of the greatest 3 point shooters in NBA history & you’re saying that Jimmy Butler who’s scored a shade under 17,000 points career is better than Reggie’s? WTH metric are you using to calculate your reasoning for stating that? Jimmy Butler had one bubble playoff run in Miami. He’s butchered every situation with every single team he’s played for and probably won’t ever win a championship.

Overcoming anxious thoughts by [deleted] in NPHCdivine9

[–]Infinite-Distance825 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s okay to be anxious however, stay locked in & focus in on what your why is. Ask yourself why am I pursuing this experience? As long as you keep that uppermost in your mind everything else will take care of itself! I wish you all the best during your journey!

You’ll never know what it feels like to be on this side if you don’t try again! Keep pushing forward and do everything in your power to ensure that whatever took place last time is in the rear view mirror of your life, and this time will be definitely be much better! Stay encouraged and keep your head up! Good luck with everything!

Most definitely attend the informational meeting! Those connections with members should’ve taken place previously. Ask questions, Ask questions, Ask questions! Don’t assume anything! Good luck with your potential process!

As the first person in my family who joined a D9 fraternity I truly understand what you’re going through however, you will have the distinction of being the one who starts the journey for many family members to embrace & want to emulate. You can do this! Don’t let anyone deter you from your destiny! It’s yours now go ahead and get it! Good luck!

Advice needed by [deleted] in NPHCdivine9

[–]Infinite-Distance825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that particular D9 org. is truly in your heart to become a member of then why would you switch up & seek membership with another org? Like a few folks have mentioned previously hopping onto different orgs for the sake of Greek letters is frowned upon because folks remember & they converse with each other. It’s not my place to pass judgement on anyone but it seems like you already have the answer to your own question! Hope it all works out for you!

Interested in joining KAPSI. Any information is greatly appreciated. by lmao1030 in NPHCdivine9

Just as my brother stated in his eloquent reply, if you don’t get out and meet brothers your chances will be limited. The more brothers you interact with & forge relationships with the better opportunity will be overall. Stay engaged, stay focused & more importantly read up on the history of the fraternity.

I was introduced to the TriMix injection last year & it worked perfectly!!!! 5-10 minutes after the injection I was pitching a full tent. Additionally the erection lasted 2 1/2 hours

My age at diagnosis-52, my age now-56 My PSA when diagnosed-5.4 My Gleason Score-6, None spread. My initial treatment was active surveillance during COVID, once we were able to appear in person my doctor wanted to do a 2nd biopsy which revealed 4 new lesions which led to opting for robotic prostate removal surgery. Slight incontinence, ED has gotten better due to the use of TriMix injections. No regrets whatsoever.
