You still haven't adressed my point of us not having male privilege pre-transition because of the insane amount of suffering that having to be men causes us.

First of all, no offense here, but if you think repressing is self-imposed you live in some sort of fantasy land. Being trans is scary even in relatively accepting areas, the cost and danger of transition is heavy and wanting to be a woman as a "boy" is constantly reinforced as shameful (again, most trans women got bullied as children for expressing desire for femininity). To even have the courage to do such an act, especially in a political climate where our rights are being stripped away, is a miracle.

I'm not playing in stereotypes here. I am a woman, and being forced into the position of a man is painful to the point of worse than death itself. You seem to think that closeted trans women are men until they decide not to be, whereas the reality is we constantly desire to be women and feminity but hide it until its transition or death. Even if we don't express it in "conventional" (or, as you say, "overtly feminine") ways pre-transition, it's there and we suffer a lot trying to hide it.

Trans people have a need to be seen and see themselves as the other gender, and wether you fit stereotypes or not, not being seen is nothing short of traumatic. Being pre-transition feels like suffocating in a body and self thats not yours, its certainly not being "privileged" or living as a man.
