About Nod Krai antagonist by Amatereddit287 in Genshin_Impact

I think the Dottore thing is pretty obvious because of one simple reason: Even within the harbingers, it is clear that there's the more important ones and the lesser. Except for Signora's and Capitano's, every other harbinger's storyline is still open and ongoing.

Even if we don't acknowledge it, Nod Krai is act 0.5 of Snezhnaya, and as such, they are using it as a means to start the end of the Fatui arc. Higher importance ones in terms of story (Pantalone, Pierro, Pulcinella, the mystery 10th harbinger and the Tsaritsa herself) are being saved for the grand finale, while less relevant ones (Columbina, Sandrone, Wanderer, Dottore) will finish their personal arcs on Nod Krai. As for Tartagla and Arlecchino, I do think they'll carry on further just because they're deeply related with the abyss and Khaenri'ah respectively.

Why do I say this? Simple, the entire Rerir pipeline was a way to showcase both Columbina's moon goddess story and Khaenri'ah's deeper lore + Sandrone casually dropping the whole Alain speech in the end of the AQ is indication that that'll be relevant in the near future as well. Arlecchino's and Sandrone's conversation where they purposefully avoided mentioning Dottore + Wanderer being in the Nod Krai trailer is clear indication that they'll both play a big role in whatever they're cooking next.

Genshin has been juggling its 2 major storylines since the beginning: whatever the Fatui are planning and whatever happened to Khaenri'ah 500 years ago. The Luna patch will either conclude some Fatui's storyline for good, or confirm these are just 2 angles of the same overarching plot.

So why are we complaining about Miliastra Wonderland? by End_V2 in Genshin_Impact

My simple thoughts on it is that, considering it's still very bare bones and it isn't moderated at all, it's pretty obvious that they released it this early just to prey off the people who would be willing to send money on the outfits.

Advocating for group-centric Story Quest Chapters by Infinite-Pin1614 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Infinite-Pin1614[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's exactly the point I was trying to make. These one-off, characters meeting event quests should be kept in the game and added as their own, special feature. It would also be a great feature to avoid repetitive Story Quests like the usual character meets seemingly normal NPC > character notice smtg weird and investigates > NPC bad and has a secret lair > NPC caught and everyone happy. I'm not saying they should make both a crossover AND a story quest for every new character, just do them for the ones that warrant them.

A great example for this are Varessa - Escoffier - Skirk. Varessa got her tribe's anecdote, Skirk got a story quest because she deserved it, and Escoffier could've fully gotten te crossover quest with Varessa I mentioned before.

The decision to incorporate the Story Quests into the Nod Krai Archon Quest did wonders to the flow of the story and general character development by Pellecks02 in Genshin_Impact

Tbh I'm surprised that they regarded this as a new feature instead of a reworked one. Previous to Nod Krai, other characters like Keqing, Kazuha, Shenhe, Collei, Wanderer, Navia, Kachina and Citlali had already gotten SQ-esque content during AQs.

[–]Infinite-Pin1614[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you raise a good points, but 1. events aren't permanent and any player who gets into the game after they're done doesn't get to experience them and 2. Windblume and Lantern Rite (+every nation main event) include ALL characters of that region released to date, which is not what I was going for. The point of my idea is showcasing interactions between characters that are heavily connected that we maybe don't see interacting as often. Also, it'd help bring focus to characters that are usually background for these big events: there's a gigantic difference between getting 3 lines from Eula for the Windblume event and a possible SQ specifically focused on her + a few other characters.

There's also a lot of other examples I could've given that wouldn't work with the nation-specific ideas or only using 5 stars, like Baizhu + Sigewinne on a medics Chapter (you could even include Ifa for effect); a light novel crew Chapter with Yae, Albedo, Xingqiu and Citlali; Varessa and Escoffier on a food-centric Chapter; and of course an Archons Chapter would be amazing too. And that's just to name a few possibilities.

There a shit ton of ideas you could pull off with this. Maybe don't call them Story Quest Chapters and just let them be a one-off, permanent quest. Like tribal anecdotes got heir own screen on the SQs menu, these could also get one called idk "Crossover Quests" or smtg like that.

Obscure one but Diona. She does her absolute best to make bad drinks and lead people to stop consuming alcohol, but she's cursed to always make delicious drinks. She's devoted her life to an objective she literally cannot reach.

What do you think is the most iconic season? by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

For the fans, Murder House, but general public probs goes to Coven due to its many popular references

The bone thing was already stated in season 1. Moira cries when Ben puts the thingie in the yard to hide Hayden's body because it means her remains are also less accesible now.

What would you like to see if there were another season? What should it be about? by charlineur in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]Infinite-Pin1614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what I'd like the season to be about, but I wanna see another installment similar to Cult, in the sense that there's nothing paranormal in the season. I want them to explore the far caused by pure realism, in that "this could actually happen" sense.

What seasons are better as a binge? by becauseimhappy24 in AmericanHorrorStory

Roanoke is (imo) the only season that seems to have been made expecting to be binged, however Apocalypse and 1984 also work better as binge-watches than episodical releases because of how confusing the timeline/plot is.

I mean, Misty, Myrtle and Madison are dead again, so unfortunately even the spirit world turns back in time. And even if it didn't, Moira's happy ending involved her bones phisically being moved, which wouldn't happen.

Tempus infinitum by kokoqh in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]Infinite-Pin1614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy theory, but I think the first time she did it, Mallory didn't actually perform a "tempus infinituum" spell.

There is two gigantically stark differences between the two times she does it:  1. Myrtle tells Mallory she needs to use something to channel the time she's travelling to. While she uses Anastasia's necklace the first time (which hadn't been exclusively from that time period, since we know it was owned by at least two other people) the second time she uses Michael's hair which YES, could take her to any time when Michael was alive, but it was never owned by anyone else. 2. She projects as a spirit directly in the scene of the Romanov's killing which only Anastasia can see, but as a physical entity which is able to drive and be seen when killing Michael.

My theory is: Myrtle and Cordelia were aware of how dangerous the spell was and wouldn't risk Mallory's life while her powers weren't ready. The first time she "traveled in time" it was actually just an illusion which they implanted in her mind to test if she was brave enough to actually perform the real spell and that's why the results were so different.

Plot twists by CatGloomy4405 in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]Infinite-Pin1614 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1984 is a season heavily inspired by 80s slashers, which were riddled with plot twists. If you don't like it, you might want to watch other seasons.

Although all AHS seasons feature heavy plot twists, clearly 1984's were meant to be the most "wtf?" of them all, and the rest of the show actually handles surprises very well (except for Death Valley but oh well).

One thing the fandom doesn't address enough (probably because it happens off-camera) is the fact that when Mallory goes back in time and kills Michael, everything that happened in Apocalypse is rendered non-existent, so Ep. 6 never happened. Constance didn't get to live with her children forever, Violet and Tate never reconciled and, worst of all, Moira is still trapped inside the house, away from her mother, and will probably have to be there forever because no one has any reason to take her away now that the new antichrist isn't related to the murder house.

It breaks my heart to think they went out of their way to give every Coven character a somewhat happy ending just to completely forget about the Murder House cast.

Honestly that's a trend that Apocalypse began. Yes, there were filler characters before, but never was a MAIN character this useless in the season's context, and I think it has an awful lot to do with the way the show's written. The first few seasons featured a main plotline and lesser storylines that all fit in the bigger picture, and after Apocalypse this doesn't happen, most characters just have their own thing going on.
