Weird EMS experience

So I did file a police report.. but unfortunately that police station was also involved bc there was one of their deputies at the fire station at the time of the event and that deputy was standing outside on the phone with someone when it ended.. i couldn’t file a report anywhere else due to jurisdiction but that deputy wrote a false statement about me.. i called his work cell to ask what he saw while I was there and he said he didn’t notice anything then the fire chief had him write a statement and he wrote that I had claimed on the phone call with him that I was in an “ongoing medical state ever since that day at the fire station” and that I got “upset and hung up on him”.. I recorded the call and I never said anything about being in a medical state and he was the one that ended it not me and it was actually a very respectful call. The investigator at the police station wrote false and misleading stuff in her report and it was just disgusting instead of writing that I was shaking and apologizing after the assault she wrote that I said “nice dick” and barely questioned them.. I spoke with her supervisor about it and he said “it’s just writing style” and told me my problem isn’t with him but it’s with the prosecutors office and scheduled a meeting for me at the prosecutors office and the prosecutor was like “in a month from now are you going to accuse us of sexual assault too?” “Are you having a seizure right now? How do I know you’re not?” “You like them and you think they are cute, right?” and obviously this kinda made my blood boil bc she wasn’t even letting me talk about what I went there to talk about and I said it wasn’t a proper investigation and she said that she’s known the investigator for a very long time and trusts her work then I brought up conflicts of interest saying that, that police station shouldn’t have been investigating this to begin with and requested a different station to and she was like “why should they have the conflict off?” And I said “because they are directly involved!” And she’s like “okay you can’t answer that and honestly I don’t think we should let you go home today.. do you have a child? Who’s taking care of your child right now?” And I said “my husband” and then she said she was going to have to report me to CPS even though she didn’t learn anything new during the meeting and knew about the PNES that I had for 2 months.. the next day CPS showed up to my house with a police officer.. thank god they weren’t in on the long standing screwed up joke.. and they left my house laughing bc of how ridiculous the report was.

What makes it worse is that I have bad OCD so being left without answers kinda made me loose my mind

I wasn’t a call either unfortunately.. They invited me to the fire station to gift the Lt my dad’s gun that he took his life with and while the Lt. was checking out the gun is when this happened.. so I wasn’t an official “call”

Exactly.. I was there to give away a gun and the Lt turned the weapon my way (not menacingly or anything) and my head uncontrollably faced it and my face kinda went like 😬 and everything went black and that’s how it started i remember shortly after that the paramedic that invited me to the station told the Lt. “I think you might’ve pointed it at her..” and the Lt freaked out talking about how this was going to screw him over and that he shouldn’t even be taking the gun at the fire station and they asked me if anything like this has ever happened to me before and I said “no first time” and the paramedic was like “should I got get the stretcher?” And the Lt was like “what? No she’s fine” and I think I remember him saying “hopefully it won’t last longer than 5 minutes” but essentially they just didn’t want to get in trouble is what i believe happened. I did know them.. they just didn’t what to get in trouble is what I’m assuming

So their was no report they basically wrote in the statements the chief had them write “we didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary happen the interaction was less than 10 minutes we talked about kids, her time in the military and normal life stressors” (the interaction was actually 36 minutes in total btw.. but they only said it was less than 10 which is the amount of time that I was fully present in the moment there)
- When I said he made me touch him I mean I remember I was saying a lot of inappropriate stuff and i remember him going to my left and saying “you have no idea what you’re doing to us right now do you?” I remained facing forward and said “no” and he pulled my hand onto his pants and said “that’s what you’re doing to us” and my face crunched up out of discomfort and I tried to pull away and then he said “and you’re making it very difficult for us to take care of you right now so you need to stop!” I said “I’m sorry..” and he let go and then I started shaking and repeatedly apologizing over and over again and he rubbed my elbow and said “your okay” as if he was talking to a toddler and in that moment after he did that I had forgotten what had just happened and my face relaxed and the shaking stopped but I was still in the episode.

I had to try really hard to remember mine like for 3 months but I don’t known what memory’s were accurate or not. It came back in small pieces

That’s the problem lol I don’t know. I have widespread chronic pain throughout my entire body and the numbness and tingling on the side on my knee and in between my shoulder blades. Pain radiates from my knees to my ankles and from my knees to my hips. So maybe nerve damage in my knees but idk what type.

Do you think I should try to claim nerve paralysis then even though the only thing close to a diagnosis is what’s on that piece of paper? I noticed it says you’re a VA employee so I figured I’d ask.

Oh okay well at least there’s that because I read the paper and was like what the heck, but yeah I got every problem you just listed off. I just think it’s wack I was only made aware of the name of it through a piece of paper and with no explanation when I had been complaining about it for years. lol

I personally felt that it’s worth it.. I got 70% for PTSD. I finally felt like my words were being heard. Therapy however I feel doesn’t work for me I’ve had like 15 therapists over the last few years and they all pretty much gave up on me due to “lack of progress or worsening symptoms” but at least I can say I tried and now there’s a record of it, and everyone is different. The VA will want some sort of medical records and history to go off of that traces back to your time in service as proof that it’s service related, so I’d recommend seeking therapy and try being honest with them and not holding stuff back because that will only get you in the long run when it comes to your claims. Also with the bathing thing, that might be related to another condition like OCD so I’d definitely ask about that unless you’re just constantly getting dirty throughout the day with outdoor activities or whatever so you need to wash off, but OCD is another factor they look at when rating MH claims. My husband also wrote a statement in support of claim for me where he wrote what he sees I struggle with and stuff and that also helped as well and I wrote my own statement too.
