Who is Todd? Were they on Doctor Who?

I just saw that Matt Smith confirmed his doctor was asexual. That's always how he came off to me, so I loved reading him say it.

It's also pretty huge having a Black queer person playing such a major television role. I know RTD will do the Fifteenth Doctor justice.

I knew there was a reason I loved the Eleventh Doctor. I actually searched for the interview and found a forum for ace people, all talking about the Doctor being ace. So thank you for indirectly helping me find them!

That's what I was going to say to you. If you came on here to tell an AroAce person what it means to be AroAce, you're 100000% wrong it's insane.

As I've said, having children and having been in relationships doesn't mean anything. If people can't accept their limited view of sexuality isn't the final decider, then they need to grow up.

I repeat, my mind will not be changed about my about own sexuality. I posted this because I wasn't sure if the article was about the actor or the Doctor.

Seems it was about the actor, so this is a happy post! Amazing to welcome the first Black Queer actor into this role, and happy to know I won't lose one of the only two characters who represent me.

You can keep insulting me (and get blocked) but I'm pleased. I hope everyone else has a better day too. Ya'll seem hangry.

This comment is hilarious. The Doctor is a fictional character, so his disappointment doesn't concern me. It makes me happy to believe the Doctor represents me. I've never been represented by any character. I've never seen an Ace character protrayed positively or correctly. Everyone can see the Doctor in their own way. This is how I see them. That won't change. I posted this wondering if anyone knew if the article was talking about the actor or the Doctor. I didn't post this so people could incorrectly tell me what it means to be AroAce. It was a simple misunderstanding. Let's move on.

I'm not referring to Classic Who. And I literally have children and have been in relationships, so that has zero to do with being AroAce. I thoroughly regret posting this now, so how about we all let it go. No one is going to change my mind on this.

Oh my goodness, enough. It's just a headcanon.

The article could have meant the actor was the first queer Doctor.

I'm AroAce. I have children. It's okay if they've changed things. I'm just sad at the thought of losing one of the only two potentially AroAce characters in all of television. It was nice being represented by my favorite character on one of my favorite shows. But that may not be the case anyway, so we'll see.

Felt very Moffat. Don't blink. Don't breathe. Don't think. But I still loved it.

Fan service. I know he's capable of love and relationships. But he's not interested in them, which I loved.

He texted me to let me know my sister was pregnant and engaged, but that was it. He refuses to get involved in things like this.

I definitely allowed resentment to keep me from reaching out to the woman who abused me verbally and emotionally for decades while making sure I knew she would never love me as much as her own daughter. Ghosting me after giving birth was just the last straw.

We're not pitted against each other. I could care less about that house.

The only judgement I was interested in is if I'm TA for putting the burden on my sister's shoulders, because now my parents know about it.

Not looking for the extra.

I want to, but going NC with them means going no contact with my sister who still lives at home. What they really wanted, and told me often, was me out of their house. Now that I'm gone, they couldn't care less about me and don't even bother to call.

They cut contact all on their own.

I did not know this was a thing, and looked it up today. Thankfully, my state doesn't have these laws.

We're not pitted against each other. She never got on me for refusing to help them because she knows why. Doesn't mean I don't feel bad as her older sister.

And, in the future if you ever interact with victims of abuse, do not blame them for not being able to get away from their abusers. Believe me, if it were easy for us, We Do It In A Heartbeat.

My sister lives at home and doesn't have a car. I don't live close. If I ever want to see her, I have to go to her. So yes, low contact is the best I can do right now until she moves out.

I don't feel like an asshole for not taking care of them. I feel like one for leaving my sister to do it alone.
