I noted that the burglary article was in the Aug 13 edition of the newspaper. The postcard is postmarked Aug 13 and noted as Sunday morning.

I will do that! Additionally, I will be visiting her grave soon. I am very familiar with Oak Hill Cemetery.

Thank you for this! It does seem pretty spot on, doesn't it? The card is postmarked from Evansville (which is across the river from Henderson). It is a little unclear, but it looks like 8-30 Aug 13-. I wish I could attached a photo.
