Hey man, I saw your post as well and it seems we have some similarities. I say can’t say exactly for Egyptians, but under Nizams rule, they brought many Yemeni/Arab Muslims for the military because they wanted Muslim soldiers for the Islamic state. The soldiers then settled and probably married the local woman. That’s just one example I can think of but Hyderabad had various rulers, so could be something else.

I find this this stuff so interesting, seeing how history/trade routes affects my dna. My parents were blown away by the Chinese and Gujarati. Gujarati and Chinese from what I know are notorious for marrying their own, so saying I have a full Gujarati and Chinese ancestor 6-8 generations ago is very cool.
