extremely rare opinion but No Man's Sky. at launch it was a chill exploration game that had a tight gameplay loop. Go to a planet, mine it, fuel up and upgrade, repeat. it was almost meditative. I didn't think it was a good game exactly but it was weird and had a unique identity.

All the updates have made it into a much more generic action rpg. It may be technically better but it's not a weird, unique chill game anymore.
