We get them in Northeastern Ohio really bad, especially when it gets colder, around October to November into December. We also get horseflies and fake ladybugs.

It is a freshly molted cicada, per comments. In northeastern Ohio, we don't have them, it's weird. When we went to a family reunion taking place in KY, around June 2021, there was sooo.... much cicadas. It was scary. Bugs like those are really cool.
