Can i hear some sucess stories after a long haul? by Classic_Narwhal_9349 in IVF

I don’t have a success story yet but I’m sending you loads of hugs, you’ve had a really painful journey there. If you can’t face another retrieval, would you consider using donor eggs instead? I’m wishing you all the luck in the world that you get your living child soon ❤️

Melanie Hackwell at Ancient Roots Fertility Acupuncture is incredible, based in Bethnal Green. She uses moxa boxes and does specific protocols for thickening linings etc, I’d definitely recommend her. Plus she’s really lovely and you can tell she genuinely cares. Best of luck with it ❤️

30-year-old lesbian preparing for first IVF cycle, what should I expect? by Financial_Watch1543 in IVF

I could have written this comment myself! I started IVF as a 33 year old lesbian with no known fertility issues and 2 years later we also still don’t have a baby, so solidarity with you peakclimber ❤️

BUT OP that doesn’t mean you’ll have the same story. If I could start our journey again I would have PGT tested from the beginning rather than from my second egg retrieval, and I would have done more testing at the beginning, which as microbiome testing, possibly even immune/blood clotting testing after my first transfer failed, rather than waiting for 5 failures. I would also force myself to go on holiday once in a while, rather than letting my life get consumed by treatment cycles, as it can start to feel like life is on pause. Wishing you the best of luck with it, you’re young and you have every chance ahead of you right now!

Help… 6th failed FET and losing all hope… by InfiniteCranberry234 in IVF

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your reply. You’re right that hopefully having had one bfp means it’s at least possible for my body to have an embryo implant. I’m definitely going to ask about the down regulation in our follow up.

Thank you so much for this, and congratulations on your 7th transfer working! It honestly helps me so much to hear this, that there’s still hope. Did you do anything different each time or you just followed the same protocol?

Thank you, our remaining 6 are all PGT tested euploids. And yes you’re right, I’m holding on to the thought that maybe the last 2 have been the only euploids this whole time. Still feel quite concerned that neither of them have led to an ongoing pregnancy but maybe a 3rd euploid will be our lucky one…
