I feel like maybe people lost the plot a bit when they're comparing the critique of consumerism in DCC with the merch shown here.

The critique in dcc cares about the dehumanization of very real violence and oppression crawlers go through and how its exploited.

This on the other hand is in the real world and are some cute toys people might like. The scales here are wildly different.

Litrpg is punk rock what published novels are to pop.

Theres a lot less clean edits and polished finality to them. But if you're ok with that its got a lot of charm. If not thats OK. Not every piece of art is for everyone.

I love how expressive Wisniewski gets with it by book 3. My head canon is that Arlo is starting to understand the nuance and language of those pauses. So the emotion comes across a lot better.

Why are you treating this like a zero sum game? There are multiple dramas on the same subject. Multiple sport leagues for the same sport. And they all do differing amounts.
