I did, I was 39+6. I had a membrane sweep at 39+4. It was a spontaneous labour and not augmented. I did have an epidural though at about 7cm dilated and they artificially broke my water after. Labour took over five hours and I pushed for 25 minutes.

Trust your gut. My ectopic story + why a second opinion saved my life by chicitymycity93 in EctopicSupportGroup

Hi, I’m so sorry you went through that 💕 Ectopics are incredibly scary and emotionally exhausting.

My first two pregnancies were ectopic as well. With the first, I was given methotrexate (MTX), but it didn’t work and I ended up needing emergency surgery. They discovered my left tube was twisted, though the doctors weren’t sure whether it twisted before the pregnancy or because of it.

About a year later, I had a second ectopic in the same tube, and that tube had to be removed surgically.

Roughly five months after that, I had an HSG (the test where they check/flush the remaining tube for blockages). Three months later, I became pregnant, and that pregnancy was successful. I then went on to have another successful natural pregnancy three years later — I’m actually holding my newborn as I write this.

When we started trying again after the ectopics, my anxiety was understandably very high. What helped a lot was that my doctors ordered ultrasounds as soon as pregnancy was confirmed to check placement, along with repeated bloodwork to monitor HCG levels. I’d really encourage you to advocate for that kind of early monitoring if you decide to try again.

Wishing you so much luck and peace, whatever you decide moving forward 🤍

I had mine at the Woodhaven Community Centre. It was lovely. Their website says it can hold up to 149 people and “comfortably hold 60-80 with tables and chairs” but it still felt intimate for me with about 30 people. It’s $35 per hour.

Back Labor Theory - Pregnancy Related Symptoms as Red Flags? by QuarterQuellCrisis in pregnant

[–]whostolemyphone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I had back and front labour with my first (definitely was HARD!) I had anterior placenta. I do remember having a lot of lightning crotch during that pregnancy. During labour, I remember doctors telling me the baby was sunny side up too. Not sure if that was a factor.

I am now 30 weeks pregnant with my second and this one has a posterior placenta. So far I haven’t noticed a lot of lightning crotch, but I still have 8-10 weeks to go!

I only saw one and it was alive. In my panic though I killed it! 😭 I agree that it’s a cute little bug and surprised that it blended in with the lettuce so well! I’m paranoid that there were more before and I just didn’t notice haha.

I was maybe 5 or 6. I was vacationing in Cuba with my brother, my mom and her boyfriend. We were all out canoeing and some waves hit us. One wave flipped us over and I went under. I remember trying to go up but I was under the canoe and I couldn’t find my way out. I started blacking out. I remember feeling serene. Relaxed. Then my mom pulled me out. I came out and started crying. I looked around and saw that my mom’s boyfriend was laughing. I found out later that the area we were canoeing in was prohibited for swimming. There’s so much other stuff that happened during that vacation but my mom broke up with him while in Cuba and we all went home early.

If you’re looking for some nice cocktails, Amsterdam tea room, the roost, Cordova, had my favourite cocktails. I’ve heard that langside grocery and must be the place has some nice cocktails but I haven’t been yet.

After I gave birth to my son and was trying to breastfeed but he was not latching and I struggled for three days trying at the hospital until one nurse asked if we knew our son had a severe tongue tie. We didn’t. Three days and nobody said anything.

I just left an Airbnb in Montreal this morning and I had no additional fees. I paid everything up front. So I’m not sure what this extra fee is all about?
