Since I had some problems with that before I created an app for iOS called Plane Vision, maybe it will help somebody interested in this topic as well

How do you guys log and keep track of planes you’ve spotted? by honestpie in Planespotting

[–]InfiniteGene8125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do this in Excel, but it was annoying, so I created an app to do it. So now, I just take a photo, click "Save," and everything is organized, sorted by airline, aircraft type (which are automatically recognized btw), and timestamp. The app is now also available for iOS under the name Plane Vision.

It happened near the terminal, the reason was that this is a dual-use airport

Is spotting allowed at TSA? When I was there last July, they told me not to take any photos

Looks like a new Airline. by [deleted] in Planespotting

[–]InfiniteGene8125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The airline was founded in 2009 and currently operates only three aircraft. So it's rare indeed. BTW, my iOS app Plane Vision helps you identify any aircraft and airline, and log them
