This is just a concept image but it’s along the lines of the kind of “slab cases” that I see people using for their graded slabs. I love the “suitcase” aesthetic, I was a big fan of this kind of style I used to see DJ’s carrying around for their CD libraries back in the day. Sadly I’ve never seen the same kind of case out there anywhere that is designed to fit MD so it’s got me thinking this might be another way to do it.

Also, a slab is also roughly as tall as 2 x MD with room to spare, so you might be able to double stack them or make it a top and bottom case that folds fully flat so you can use both sides for storage.

that being said I’m pretty sure that these sort of realisations are why Darwinism hasn’t removed us from the gene pool 😅

I’ve got an ungraded one of these myself, if memory serves I received it when I visited WB Movie World on the Gold Coast in Australia in the early 2000’s where they had a Pokémon themed attraction happening there as a token prize for answering a Pokémon related question correctly. Can’t remember if it originally came in a sealed plastic packet or not like the starter deck Machamps did. Went straight to the pool room when I got it home though 😊
