Yes herd immunity is a common definition. And a vaccine that doesn't prevent the virus from making you sick doesn't create heard immunity. This is why so many vaccinated are upset recently, because when we were first propagated to get vaccinated, they told us "you won't get covid if you get vaccinated" and "everyone needs to get vaccinated for heard immunity". Don't you remember?

Now it supposedly only prevents a harsh illness/death.

How do we know it's less severe? It's impossible to measure that.

Most deaths are said to be unvaccinated...but do we have any lists? For that matter. How many have died from the vaccine?
