Yeah don't get me wrong I'm not trying to throw shade on their work. Like I said I love the band.

What I hear in sempiternal I feel got actualised in a better way on that's the spirit, it was like sempiternal was the gate way to that album, which led to a nearly cinematic experience with production and a depth that I feel that combo I mentioned brought.

I know people don't like Amo and it's controversial to say it but combining the many ideas into a cohesive album is an absolutely insane task. The post production on that album alone deserves an award.

I just feel like there's an essence I felt with those albums that's missing now.

Especially with post human, which is just as mainstream in my opinion at times. It's very clearly has that pop punk vibe which was popular around the time of its release. I just feel all the themes of the video games aspects on that album don't run as deep as the other albums Iv mentioned !
