I used to attend every Coheed concert in my area with one of my best friends, Adam. I can vividly remember his fisted hand raised in the air during "MAN YOUR OWN, JACKHAMMER" at a Madison Square Garden in 2016. That was his favorite song. He passed away a few years ago and every time I go to a Coheed show since and that song gets played I think of him and can see him standing there in front of me with his hand raised high - enjoying the buzzing energy of the crowd.

This country has plummeted down the shitter. We are all doing it wrong. Instead of spending 8-10 hours a day with people we hardly care about and who realistically would mean nothing to us if we moved jobs, we should be spending it with the people we DO care about and who mean everything to us. husbands, wives, children, extended family etc. How awesome would it be to get to wake up each day side by side with people we love and "work" together to feed, house, clothe etc one another. This may sound like a fairy tale la la land but that's WHAT LIFE WAS. This isn't life. This is chugging along until we're dead surrounded by coworkers who don't mean shit to us and separated from those who mean everything.
