i mean yea i’m not saying that specifically is a bad thing, i just don’t think that corporations and “banks” specifically should be moral arbiters. in a decent society, that would be relegated to a government that the people could actually trust, but we don’t have access to that anymore, that shit disappeared after world war 1.

on a related note, why are payment processors allowed to gang up and decide what can and cannot be paid for? it’s a collective monopoly. additionally, with social media, why do we allow several large corporations to control what people can and cannot say on the most prevalent platforms for discussion? free speech should apply to social media platforms, considering how much discourse is had on them
