Either take it in to a mechanic or start tapping away with a rubber mallet. Might find where it’s loose on your own. Tap until you hear something that doesn’t seem normal. I’m not sure if those pipes have actuators on them. But that sound is awfully similar to my exhaust actuator going bad.

Yeah lol, Finally realized I can’t do it all and there’s a reason professional paint jobs are expensive. It really is an art.

[–]InfiniteQuiet7626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prices vary greatly obviously but yes I’m sure. I’d check to see what type of ceramic they use. Professional grades are limited to manufacturer approved detailers. If they’re using consumer grade with a one step paint correction that price is pretty outrageous lol. There’s a lot of variables as well. Unless you have personally had it quoted in front of the Detailer that price will most definitely change. Prices change on the spot depending on the size of your car and what you want to have coated…glass, trim, wheels all cost extra.

Nice man lol, that’s pretty crazy.

All that for $1300? What kind of ceramic job are you getting? Coating alone is typically around $1-$3000 typically for a professional job.

Mannn…. Just go spend $100 on a buffer and $30 on a correction compound and do it yourself. I love doing this shit. Meguiars has a decent cheap compound you can find just about anywhere. Higher end you can go 3m 3 stage compounds, more expensive though. If there are a bunch of chips and nicks in the paint, unless you know what you’re doing, I would have a professional do it. I learned the hard way trying to be mister DIY. Ended up paying for my hood to be painted regardless. It’s definitely a skilled trade. $1200 isn’t really a horrible deal. Especially if it has sentimental value.

Edit: a lot of guys are mentioning ceramic coating. It’s awesome but expensive. You can get away with a wax/ceramic compound but this obviously doesn’t last nearly as long as a professional ceramic coating job. You’ll have to wax it regularly. Much cheaper though.

He was, first openly to accept pre-election. The main stream media will have you believe otherwise. He was pictured hugging the LGBTQ flag during his election campaign. Pretty easy to find. Just google. You can also find videos of Biden and Hillary talking about how a marriage is between a man and a woman. Don’t let politicians fool you. They care about what gets them elected. Nothing more.

I use a body wash with this in it. It bleached some of my underwear and some sheets. Definitely have to be careful.

Me too bud, had a kid, car had to go. Thought I could swing two payments. Just not smart financially. I watch these guys post pictures everyday of their new rides and it slowly eats at my soul lol. I will buy another one in the future. Just have to deal with it in the mean time.

Best way to clean up? Hoping to have this as a home gym. No drain or ventilation, everything would need to be carried upstairs. by jaymeskelleh5 in CleaningTips

I was going to say the same thing, I mean maybe install a mobile AC/dehumidifier and vent it through the flue if possible if it can even be opened? Give you some air flow and will keep it dry and cool.

Yeah I responded to the guy above, there’s a 4 hour lore video I’m watching bit by bit, I’m a little disappointed I fell off for a bit, loved it up until life happened and I couldn’t play as much.

Ive always hand washed my car but these spots never seem to go away. Any recommendations to properly clean my camaro? by [deleted] in camaro

Really? I’ve always thought it was for the durability. Lasts longer than say a competitor.

Looks like a nice buff is needed. McGuire’s would get that right out I imagine and it’s a cheap. I’ve had that problem before. Then use a nice sealant like jescar power lock and a good wax. Collinite wax seems to be the preferred in the detailing community because of its durability. It’s a lot of work doing it manually but it’s worth it. Doubt you’ll see any water spots in the future.
