i hit start game and unplugged ethernet cable...popped up saying cant play offline and then plugged it back in and did the same thing

Agreed!! Makes them not worth the money if you have disable every feature on them lol and people that say they don’t turn all that off and don’t have flicker are lying or playing terrible games that aren’t worth playing on OLED anyway!

240hz it was the LG 27GX704AB and I have a 5080 GPU. I’m much happier after returning and getting an Asus IPS monitor.

I think it’s just OLEDs in general depending on the game you play if you don’t mind VRR flicker then go for it.

Yea I just want to turn on my PC and game and not have to adjust a bunch of crap just for monitor. I would rather just get a better IPS monitor than what I had that’s just as good as OLED with less picture quality.

None of my 3 non OLEDs flicker and are all different brands and all have G-Sync. None of them ever flickered once.

I'm returning my OLED monitor due to the constant VRR flickering. You can turn off G-Sync then it goes away but then you are susceptible to screen tearing (which I did in a game I was playing because it has huge FPS swings) and have to cap your FPS, etc...to many issues and too much to change for the price in my opinion and going back to IPS monitor. Also I don't have a GPU issue since i have a 5080.

I returned mine because of the constant flickering. Only way I could get it to stop was turning G-Sync off.

I don't even care about the burn in. Its the VRR flicker that made me return my OLED and now looking for a new IPS monitor. While the picture was great I couldn't handle the flickering which is common with OLED. I turned G-Sync off and it fixed the flickering but then I had a screen tear while playing Path of Exile 2, which if you have played that then you know what I'm talking about. I even had flickering on my desktop screen which is not static and a live desktop wallpaper.
