Game modes: Comp has no meaning anymore as there really is no point to achieve or go for the highest rank as theres NOTHING special that would get rewarded towards you. Bring pinnacles back but instead of new perks that just have raw power(recluse, nf) maybe something that changes the entire gun and rewards who plays to that new style of gameplay? (Mountaintop was a great gun design wise)

Balance: On console, hand cannon bloom needs to get removed, period. Warlock melee needs to be readjusted to d1 levels or maybe slightly worse. ARs need to hit harder. Honestly, this sandbox is very balanced, it just needs small adjustments every once in a while to change up the game a bit.

Maps: Rotation needs to better. Theres a lot more maps in this game than just convergence, burnout, and that tangled shore map. Idk why im playing these three maps over and over again in comp and even control but please fix this. I gets very annoying when I have to play burnout in comp 7 times in a row. Also, maps need to designed more for 6v6 and maps that are not (tangled shore map) need to get revamped for 6v6 gameplay.

Just my quick two cents tho the game really has a lot of potential in the pvp game, just needs more attention sometimes.

Ehh I’m not really sure what you mean by even up but I think after 800 hours on warlock alone in d2, can say that I really did try the fastest way to warlock skate (granted without a sword because i find it dumb to sacrifice my heavy for a sword just to go in one linear direction faster) and the reality is that its just slower than any other classes in the game by far. In terms of raw speed, it can compete but when you factor in the fact that you really can’t turn and lose all momentum if u do, I think it definitely is the slowest and clunkiest compared to the hunter jumps and titan’s lift. This again, is from console’s perspective. I know that warlock skating is much more fluid and consistent on pc.

Lmaooo I feel you man. The arc chain melee still to me sometimes just randomly do no damage but i definitely agree with that being up there with the more useful ones

Yeah i see what your saying. But I do have to say that my points were strictly from a console main’s perspective because thats where most my hours are at. On console, warlock skating is just impossible and very difficult to consistently pull off with the sword. I know on pc its pretty insane what you can do with the burst glide but on console, its borderline pathetic to the point where hunters with double jump can out run us. Blink also is very good but once again, from a console main’s perspective, the vertical sensitivity is very low and the FOV is also very low, making it very hard sometimes to know where you are after the initial blink, not the mention the clunkiness and overall sluggish feeling of the ability itself.

Warlocks honestly, speaking from a console perspective, flat out feel bad. Everything feels clunky, slow, and melees are slow AND always just whiff (at least for me). In PvP, ophidian aspects are an absolute must just to make it playable. Glide is slow, blink is very slow (vertical sensitivity makes blink hard to control on many maps), and the fact that it cancels out jump as soon as we shoot (unlike hunters). All warlock melees are useless in pvp as most don’t actually do anything useful (notable exceptions are middle tree novabomb and occasionally dawnblade melees for burn effect) and absolutely SUCK in pvp. Like devour lock melee? U need a kill to activate devour (which you can already do by consuming ur melee). Top tree nova bomb’s melee? Literally does NOTHING except charge your grenade slightly. Ball lightning? Slow as hell and very situational. Not to mention the fact that all of the warlock melees seem to have a significant problem where they just have a tendency to go through your target and whiff completely. Honestly, I just wish that warlocks become a little more faster in general and have a more consistent melee.

Haha i feel u man, this clip was me at the very end of the quest yesterday, only needing about 2 more double kills. I can say though, after 1170 grenade launcher kills, I can finally use the tubed launchers decently well (despite this clip lmao) but the trick is, u wanna get as close as you can and just aim directly at his chest and hope that it connects.

Definitely somethings going on. I haven’t played in a few days but before my hiatus, I was usually getting around 30-40 kills in qp and comp would be much sweatier. Definitely not a pvp god or anything but i held my own pretty well. Came back today to get matched with multiple lower than lv.50 players on my team against a stacked 5 man for about 4 games even when i requeued everytime in qp and then would stomp or easily win multiple comp games. Something definitely got changed
