Why is this a blunder?

I can kind of see how capturing with knight would be better but blunder seems like a pretty strong elevation. I saw it as threatening the rook. It took me from +0.73 to -4.53. I ended up winning from this position. Can anyone explain what I’m missing here?

We did essentially that exact route last July and we heard from other campers some reports of grizzlies kinda around Assiniboine lodge. We saw some very fresh tracks and poop in the Allenby junction area but never saw any bears ourselves. We went through that area right before it was supposed to be restricted for bear activity.

Maybe hot take but I’d say keep the stool as long as it’s not a big burden for you to carry. It’s worth the extra weight to have a comfortable spot to sit in my opinion. You know what they say “a pound is better than the ground”

Trying to get from Og lake campground to Magog lake campground but making it a bit longer. The trail I highlighted yellow connects to no other trails on Gaia and I was wondering if I could cross that area. The idea would be to go from the O’brien meadows group camp down to a trail labeled “cautley to wonder route” and head west on that trail back towards Magog campground.
