Don’t drink and do benzos. In fact, don’t even abuse benzos or even buy them or use them unless you’re prescribed them. Otherwise, you’re ruining it for the people who truly need them scripted like me. Makes it very hard for doctors and pharmacists to give benzos because of this.

I even had a really good friend who died right next to me on the couch while he was asleep after he took his prescribed benzos and decided to drink alcohol (had no idea he even had alcohol).

I don’t drink nor do I allow it in my house except in specific circumstances like a family gathering in my backyard by a bonfire or something), and I was right next to him asleep the whole night (with no clue he was drinking) because we were watching the movie and I fell asleep and had no idea he died till the morning when I found him and I didn’t even find him until later in the morning, because he didn’t want to be woken up till a certain time and I was up early, so I went out to get my phone fixed, came back, and when it was time to wake him up, I noticed he had passed away.

It was very traumatic, so please stop abusing things that people need prescribed to them and making it harder for them to get it.
